Peace IMPACT Fund RFP
Project PEACE puts real money behind the organizations doing the work in Norwich. The Impact Fund awards $5,000 – $30,000 for programs that strengthen public safety, support families, and expand opportunity. Proposals are open now through August 7, 2026.
About the Impact Fund
The Impact Fund is Global City Norwich’s competitive grant program through Project PEACE — Pathways to Economic Advancement & Community Empowerment. We award funding to nonprofits, schools, churches, and government agencies running programs that serve economically and socially disadvantaged residents across Norwich.
This Request for Proposals (RFP) opens the next round of funding. Awards are made through a competitive procurement process, and all funded programs must be completed by June 30, 2027. The full RFP contains every requirement and detail.

What We Fund
Programs must meaningfully address at least one of these priority areas:
- Increasing and/or Improving Public Safety — programs that make Norwich neighborhoods safer
- Strengthening Family Support Systems — programs that stabilize and strengthen families
- Expanding Opportunities for Youth and/or Adults — pathways that open doors across the city
- Skill or Educational Development & Empowerment — building the skills people need to advance
Programs can deliver on these priorities through community engagement & recreation, economic opportunity & workforce skills, health, wellness & community safety, or arts, heritage & cultural enrichment.
You Should Apply If
- You're a nonprofit, school, church, or government agency
- You serve economically or socially disadvantaged Norwich residents
- Your program addresses a Project PEACE priority
- Your program can be completed by June 30, 2027
- You have a clear plan with measurable outcomes
Who Can Apply
Eligible respondents must be one of the following:
- 501(c)(3) charitable organizations
- Churches or religious organizations
- Public schools
- Municipal or governmental agencies
- Other IRS-recognized nonprofit organizations
- Organizations partnering with an eligible nonprofit fiscal agent
Funds may not be awarded to individuals, unincorporated groups, or for-profit entities, and funds may not be used for religious or spiritual activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience providing community engagement, prevention, or intervention services to at-risk youth and/or adults
- Established partnerships or collaborations within the Norwich service area
How to Apply

- Join the informational session: July 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM on Zoom. Registration details are in the RFP.
- Prepare your proposal: you’ll need a complete proposal and a program budget in Excel format (template linked in the RFP). Questions must be submitted in writing to peace@globalcitynorwich.com by July 21, 2026.
- Submit online by August 7, 2026: the online submission form is the only method of submission, and each organization may submit one proposal.
