What Is the Working Lab?

The Working Lab is Global City Norwich’s flagship entrepreneurship program — a 16-week training program designed to help aspiring business owners turn their ideas into successful, brick-and-mortar businesses based in Norwich, providing practical, hands-on instruction in business planning, operations, financial fundamentals, and launch readiness.

  • You have a great idea for a physical business
  • You plan to base your business in Norwich, CT
  • You're ready to commit to 16 classes (minimum 14 required to graduate)
  • You can attend Tuesdays from 5:30–7:30pm
  • You're motivated, and ready to put in the work
  • You're looking for structure and guidance
